This means that B2B buyers sourcing batteries from China will need to request carbon footprint declarations from suppliers and assess their compliance with EU grading thresholds. Non-compliant batteries may face market access restrictions or additional tariffs. Buyers should prioritize suppliers who can provide transparent carbon data and audited documentation.
