If you are designing energy storage or start-up power systems for cold climates, high-rate applications, or long-life industrial use, traditional lead-acid batteries often fail early, lose capacity in winter, and require frequent replacement. The OID SIB50160118-50H-2.85V-6C-1602 sodium-ion power cell from Jianheng is engineered to solve exactly these problems. It combines the inherent safety of sodium-ion chemistry with a nominal voltage of 2.85 V, a nominal capacity of 50 Ah at 0.2C, continuous discharge up to 6C, 45-second pulse discharge up to 10C, and a cycle life of 8000 to 10000 cycles. It retains approximately 90% of initial capacity at -20C discharge and approaches 90% even at -40C, making it a true low-temperature power solution.
Whether you are building high-safety residential energy storage, industrial energy storage, low-temperature discharge and charging start-up power sources, or high-rate long-cycle start-up power for forklifts, engineering vehicles, motorcycles, and trucks, this cell delivers reliable performance. It supports 0 V activation charging for safe recovery from deep discharge, operates from -40C to 60C, and features a stable prismatic aluminum-shell design tested under 0.2 MPa pressure cycling.

The cell must be stored separately in a cool (≤ 25 °C) dry area for long-term storage, away from direct sunlight, heated environments and high static environments. The battery must be kept away from children or pets. For storage, a 50% SOC cell stored at 40 °C for 1 month, 30 °C for 2 months, or 20 °C for 3 months can recover ≥ 90% capacity at room temperature using the standard charge and discharge mode. During transport, the positive (+) and negative (-) directions must be checked before packaging, and insulation must be verified to prevent short circuits when wiring boards or wires are connected to the battery. The cell must not be exposed to temperatures outside the specified operating temperature range. When monomers are used for module or component assembly, the first-in, first-out principle should be adopted. The cell must not be soaked or wetted by water or seawater, and must not be placed in microwave ovens or high-voltage containers.

In cold-chain logistics, winter construction, and remote telecom sites, lead-acid batteries can lose more than half their capacity at -20C and fail completely at -40C. The OID sodium-ion cell retains approximately 90% capacity at -40C, so your equipment starts reliably even in extreme cold. For forklift fleets and engineering vehicles, the 6C continuous and 10C pulse discharge capability provides the burst power needed for start-up and heavy loads, while the 8000 to 10000 cycle life reduces battery replacement frequency and total cost of ownership. In residential and industrial energy storage, the inherent safety of sodium-ion chemistry and the stable 0.2 MPa pressure cycling behavior give you peace of mind. The 0 V activation charging feature allows safe recovery from deep discharge, protecting your investment. With UN38.3 and MSDS certification, this cell is ready for global transport and deployment.
