2. Can this battery be used in cold weather for outdoor drone flying?
Yes. The cell is built for low-temperature discharge and retains at least 65% of capacity at 0C and 50% at -10C when discharged at 0.5C. Charging below 0C is not permitted.
3. What is the maximum continuous discharge current and how long can it sustain?
The peak discharge current is 375A (75C) for up to 20 seconds. For standard continuous discharge, use 2.5A (0.5C). Exceeding the recommended current or duration can damage the cell and void the warranty.
4. How should the battery be stored for long periods?
For storage beyond 3 months, keep the battery in a cool, dry location at -20C to +35C and 65±20% RH. For one-year storage, -20C to +25C is recommended. Run an activation cycle every 3 months: charge at 0.2C to 4.2V, discharge to 3.0V, then charge to 3.7V.
6. What is the expected cycle life of this drone battery?
Under standard charge and discharge conditions, the battery keeps more than 80% of rated capacity after 300 cycles. Correct usage and storage help extend service life.
7. What should I do if the battery shows signs of swelling, odor, or overheating?
Stop using the battery immediately and remove it from the device or charger. Do not disassemble or puncture the cell. Contact your supplier for disposal or replacement guidance.
8. Is this battery compatible with other LiPo battery models?
Do not mix this battery with other lithium-ion or polymer battery models. Always use identical batteries in series or parallel configurations to avoid imbalance and safety hazards.
